0https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?t=56702 Stepping back, I played NES games a lot when I was younger, They were sidescrollers and they required skill to play and it's a part of my memory I won't ever forget, I've seen some Doom mods try to give Doom such treatement but this one, By Combine_Kegan fits the bill for a sleeper mod hit.
Inspired by Metroid, Space Hunter goes back to May 2017 and I'm using the latest version off of Combine_Kegan's Itch.iO site, We have the "Hunter Rifle" which has a function just like Samus' Arm cannon with the ability to upgrade it with more than one shot type and missiles, nice attention to detail here is the enemies explode into pieces when you kill them and leave charred bodies on the ground, The mod itself is another example of what may seem like a basic mod but is more fun then you'd expect, This is Combine_Kegan's standout mod for me.
