0The Jokewad is something that goes back many years back, Talked of by an wad known as Mockery or Mock.wad, This wad mainly was made to poke fun at "beginner" modders mistakes, This infamous wad which was gone over by Doomworld has inspired the Jokewad movement even today.
This oddball wad is another one I found out about through Youtube, Mainly an Doom Mod Madness video, and I've rarely found Jokewads that made me laugh but this one? I couldn't stop cracking up about it considering it has little content but also the punch line behind it.
You play as the Doom marine who has an special lawnmower from the U.A.C. who needs to keep that grass of his mars home looking fine, No problem right? Well not really... Demons spawn in and you get to run them over with the mower or ride it while firing an shotgun, You also can be like an real American, Drink energy drinks while riding that lawnmower.
I didn't cover the base doom levels but you can bring the lawnmower into any base doom levels depending on the IWAD you use, It's also unique since this wad was updated several times, Mainly the changes are cosmetic such as the lawnmowers look and the energy drink textures but the last update allows you to use this wad with TNT and Plutonia, I recommend this wad for those who want an real laugh..
