The French have certainly proven they know what they are doing with Doom mapping with a trilogy of 3 Heures d'Agonie wads, and various other projects they've worked on. This 2020 megawad of 32 speedmaps was honored as a runner up at the 2020 cacoawards, again showcasing how the French really love and know their Doom.
Released on November 8th 2020, 180 Minutes Pour Vivre (translated as 180 Minutes to Live) is a 32 map megawad that uses themes that the team of J.C. Dorne, Roofi, Datacore, Wh-wilow84, FrankFRAG, Oxyide, and DarkWave0000 are known for with intense ambushes, distinct color themes and usage of many different music from other games to set the tone. Just like 3 Heures d'Agonie, death comes quick if you think the French will let you get through their maps without being careful with ammo and health and ignoring secrets, I haven't gotten far in this megawad but I enjoy it for the challenge.
