DoomRL Tutorial #8: Phobos Hellgate
6The Hellgate is the definitive disc-changer of DoomRL, the stage that pits you between the Phobos moon base and Hell itself. For the first-timer there are some nasty surprises in store, but it becomes a matter of proper technique in order to make it out without taking much damage (or none if you're smart).
I play Phobos Hellgate on Hey, Not Too Rough and Ultra-violence. There's a swell Diamond badge possible on UV (admittedly the easiest) but you do need to be careful to get it.
