Holy Mountains of Flesh is the 4th chapter (and third game) of the Doorways series. Players again find themselves in the shoes of Thomas Foster, who is tasked with investigating the mysterious disappearance of the inhabitants from the El Chacal village. The suspects? Juan, Celia, and Jeronimo Torres--rumored cannibals and practitioners of black magic.

Prior installments of the Doorways series suffered from underwhelming game length, questionable design choices, and a general lack of direction. Though occasionally presenting promising ideas, the games were sabotaged by poor execution. Is Holy Mountains of Flesh the redeemer of the series? Let's take a look.
