Finally got the 1 credit run. I was fortunate that one of the spears on the last level didnt hit and kill me. The traps can kill you in one hit on the last level. That gave me the opportunity to beat the game on 1 credit.

To make it a little more entertaining I used all the moves and some items. The safest way to play this game is elbow only. Its the best way to get the 1 credit run also. I knew when to stop fucking around with my food and get serious though. Towards the later areas I use elbow exclusively. Shit got tense at the end.

This is my first 1 credit run of an arcade game that didnt require it. Gyruss may have required me to beat it on 1 credit, but cant remember. Dont usually do these. I will definately do some more low credit runs though (3 cc and under).

This run fits into 3 of my playlists. Low Credit Runs, Console Style Arcade Games, and a new playlist, 1 Credit Arcade Playthroughs. Even though this is the only entry in that list for now. Anything under 3 credits I consider console style, since alot of console games have a 3 continue standard.

I played this game on and off over the years so its hard to say how much time went into getting it down to 1 CC. Today it took maybe 3 full attempts before I got it, exhausting all credits. I may have resetted once or twice too. Maybe around 50 minutes including the successful attempt.

I played some recently when hitting 2 CC though, so that went into the overall time it took, plus playing it on and off over the years.

Just a standard 6 button saturn pad used for this game, no auto fire. I use auto fire frequently, just didnt use it for this game.
