Double Dragon - PlayStation 4 - Intro, Attract & Solo Arcade Playthrough, Arcade Archives [HD 1080p]
Full gameplay playthrough / longplay / walkthrough / guide for the Technos Japan arcade classic Double Dragon using the excellent PlayStation 4 (PS4) Hamster Arcade Archives version. Trying not to over use the elbow blow as that makes for a boring video, so this isn't a one credit clear, still got to the final stage before we had to use them.
Everyone knows the story by now the Black Warriors / Shadow Warriors kidnap Marian and it's up to Billy and Jimmy Lee to rescue her. An iconic game in the history of scrolling beat'em up its games design helped pave the way for games such as Capcom's Final Fight and the Konami's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade. However these days the gameplay is a tad dated in many areas, the A.I. is rather unforgiving and evasive. Most of your moves don't stun the enemies at all, leading to you often getting countered.
Hence why most players end up either taking advantage of the weapon system or the elbow attack to finish the game with ease. Still for a 1987 arcade title it still looks great and is a lot of fun if you don't mind its gameplay quirks.
