11With just about one month remaining until the upcoming Pokémon TCG Fates Collide Prerelease, let's continue checking out some more cards from the current Standard BREAKpoint expansion! This week, I'm going to be reviving and revamping my very first custom Standard deck ever, Victreebel/Dragalge. The primary function of this deck is to use Victreebel's Wafting Scent Ability to inflict poison and confusion on the opponent's Active Pokémon, while Dragalge (from Flashfire) prevents the opponent's poisoned Pokémon from retreating to the Bench thanks to Dragalge's Poison Barrier Ability. This time around, however, I'll be adding in the most recent Dragalge released in BREAKpoint, with the attack called Severe Poison. This attack inflicts a much more potent poison upon the target, placing a whopping FOUR damage counters between turns as opposed to just a single counter. Can Victreebel/Dragalge stand the test of time with this current update and outlast the opposing team? Let's find out!
