So, after completing the Dishonored DLC, we finally get back into the world of Dragon Age with its sequel. Now, for those wondering, I have played and beaten this game before in a personal playthrough (I think I played as Fem-Hawke the Mage; We’ll get into that more) so I do remember certain characters and points in the story. I also got a nice refresher when I sat down to do a four-hour recording session to only find out that the audio for the game was not being recorded (NotLikeThis, FeelsBadMan, BibleThump and all that). Unfortunately for me, I did have to scrap all four hours and restart but, it was my own mistake so I can’t really be mad at anything but me. Regardless of that, we do actually play the game so I should talk a little about that. Now, unlike the last game, we have to play as a certain character (by the Name of Hawke which is your last name, no matter what you call your character). However, because of that, the character customization is much more restricted than the previous game and the beginning of the game is very similar no matter what you pick. The only difference is which class you get which I will get to when we get to that video since I don’t really want to spoil what happens. The game is actually played from the perspective of Varric, a rather odd Dwarf who is being interrogated/questioned about the Champion of Kirkwall whereabouts (which would be Hawke, in case you are wondering). Now, I’m not sure why they limited you to only one character since they could have called the hero like they in the first game; maybe because most of this game takes place before you become a hero and they weren’t sure what to call you? Let the speculation begin.
