So, we continue to try and escape the Darkspawn horde that is encroaching upon us, closer and closer. We end up at a familiar field (the one that we started the game playing in when the Dragon came down to breath fire on the Darkspawn) and the events are more than likely the same. However, one of our siblings doesn’t make it. I mention this a few times at the beginning of the game (when we were choosing classes I think) and I mentioned that a specific event happens that allows us to only have one of our Siblings. I thought it was based off of gender (if you were female, that meant Carver survived and if you male, Bethany survived) but it is actually based off of class. For whatever reason, they only allow one mage to leave the group so, if I did pick the Mage Class, Bethany would have been murdered by the Orge instead of Carver. This is one of the few permeant deaths within the game (which is a real flavor mistake in a game that allows people to revive, then again that is a flavor fail in just about any particular series that does this) which feels a little odd; It sounds as though the game punishes you for picking the Mage class (I don’t like Carver in case you are wondering; I remember him being really annoying). Regardless of that, we do get the City that the majority of the game takes place in after getting saved by a Familiar face (I think I said she should’ve be dead but that was a Fail on my part; this is taking place during Ostagar so she should still be alive for now).
