Grand Theft Auto V Part 45: The Never Ending Horde of Cops
0So, after helping out Beverly with getting some photos, I thought it would be a nice time to transition into Barry’s missions (where we have to collect several cars that contain large amounts of weed that he is planning on distributing in his “Bake out”) which is an excellent time for me to complain about the cops in great detail. So, as I’ve mentioned plenty of times before, we do not have the amazing help of Paint n’ Sprays like the previous games (This and GTA 2 are the only games without them) which makes getting rid of the police so freaking irritating. For those who have no idea how they work in this game, you have to get out of their vision/line of sight (which is even harder when they stick a Chopper over your head) and, once that is done, you then have to wait for your Wanted Level to decrease. The Reason that Paint N’ Spray it much easier is that you could drive into it, pay the company a bit of money and then already have your Wanted Level decreasing so, as long as you didn’t muck it up, that was all you had to do. Getting rid of the cops in this game feels next to impossible since they are very aggressive once they catch up to you (which makes losing them even harder) and, once they do start chasing you, the mission marker decides to no longer be your friend till you get rid of Police. The Most annoying part though, is that it doesn’t matter how many cops spot you; If a single cop, walking down the road spots you while your Wanted Level is flashing, you’ll get spotted and have Cops Cars swarming your location in seconds. Now, I did notice that every time we restarted the level, the cops started to calm down a little so you won’t be stuck with the super aggressive cops forever. A very frustrating thing to deal with (especially since I suck at driving in general) and one that boggles my mind; Why did they remove the Paint N’ Spray even though it was in the last one as well as San Andreas (which was the first game set in this area)? I hope they do add it back into the next game or else I will have just as hard time dealing with them like now.
