This game is a classic and definitely of the best RPGs released in the 2000's.
I remember playing Dragon Age: Origins on Linux years ago using Wine, but now it's even easier with Proton. Just install and click "Play".
There aren't any tweaks necessary to do, but be sure to configure the game with the launcher on the first start, because, for some reason, the sound is turned off by default and the resolution can be too small, if you have a decent monitor.
