A recording of myself testing out the new Beast Awoken with Cousina against level 99 Cell Max in the new Raid event! At the end of the video, I show off my skill set and my stats to prove I am not modding. Music is Sentinel's theme from Marvel vs Capcom 3 because I didn't want to risk a copyright claim from using Cell Max's theme from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.

I must admit, I went into this one expecting an easy boss like Great Ape Baby, but Cell Max is the most challenging Raid boss I have fought in a long time! Granted, I can get the best possible Attack Rating against him, which you see at the end of the fight (013107) but there are few chances to stun him, and even at level 1, some of Cell Max's attacks are 1 Hit KOs! (like that Disaster Ray move where he shoots lasers in a bunch of different directions) Even his basic attacks do a ton of damage even when you guard against them!

I found the best way to beat him is to keep your distance, pelt Cell Max with long range attacks like Bending Kamehameha or Dual Destructo-Disc until his stamina meter is gone, then hit him with Dual Masenko until he gets back up. After that, try to keep your distance (lots of use of Elegant Blaster to keep him from targeting you) hit him with what you can, and when he goes for his Explosive Scream Ultimate, get close and spam Dual Masenko. You will do a lot of damage and stun Cell Max, preventing him from using it!
