Previously, the party went through the Road to Rendarak and acquired several treasures, notably the Mad Cap, Erdrick's Armour, and the Thunderbolt Blade. They emerged on the snowy plateau of Rendarak and found their last safe haven, the Rendarak Shrine. In this video, the party will grind around the Rendarak Shrine.

The party resumes at the Rendarak Shrine. Isolde of Moonbrooke equips the Mad Cap to reduce the cost of her Kaboom spells.

The party leaves the shrine and begins grinding in the snowy plain to the south. The monsters there are just a little bit safer than those to the north. Of course, any enemy group here can be deadly to the unprepared party. And even to the well-prepared party. Batmandrills, Gigantes, and Archdemons can be especially deadly with their powerful attacks. There are several enemies with the nonsense of instant death spells and attacks. For instance, Frostburns have the Thwack spell.

The Rendarak Shrine is a convenient place to rest and save frequently. It is on the Zoom list, so if the party is in peril, teleport if possible, don't walk.

At Level 30, Isolde of Moonbrooke learns the spell Hocus Pocus. This spell has a random effect in battle. It can either help or hinder the party.

At Level 35, Thomas of Cannock learns his last spell, Kamikazee. Kamikazee deals major damage to the enemy formation, but the caster dies. I would much rather have something useful, like Multiheal, but that is not in this game.

Late in the video, the party Zooms to Beran to sell a monster drop. A Dragonsbane sells for 6,000 gold. Afterwards, the party gets back to the grind in Rendarak.

When they have finished grinding for now, the party heads to the Rendarak Shrine to rest and save. Davilas of Midenhall is at Level 39, Thomas of Cannock Level 38, and Isolde of Moonbrooke Level 33.

Next time, the party will finish up their grinding in preparation for the game's final dungeon.
