This is video #032 in my playthrough of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD for the Nintendo Switch. I am playing in Normal Mode.

Previously, Link carried out Sparrot's sidequest and found a new crystal ball for the fortune-teller. His search for information about the Triforce led him to Levias in the Thunderhead. After Link took out Bilocyte the parasite, Levias told him to learn parts of the Song of the Hero from the dragons guarding the three surface provinces. Then, Link did Beedle's sidequest. He played Strich's minigame on Bug Rock to get Beedle's precious pet bug back from him and delivered it to Beedle. Now, Link will head to the Faron Province. After dealing with another attempted prison break, he will go to Faron Woods.

Skyloft:

Link resumes near the Plaza in Skyloft. He enters the Bazaar.

Bazaar (time 1:46):

At the Item Check, Link withdraws the Potion Medal. He previously cooked up an Air Potion+, which may be helpful coming up.

Link leaves the Bazaar.

Skyloft (time 2:34):

Link dives off a platform and calls his Loftwing.

The Sky (time 2:57):

Link dives into the green column of light. Fi reports that he cannot descend directly into the Faron Woods. Only the Bird Statues in the Sealed Grounds area are available. Link descends towards the Sealed Grounds.

Sealed Grounds (time 3:44):

As Link lands at the Sealed Grounds, a scene takes place with Groose. Good grief, the Imprisoned is breaking out again! This is getting ridiculous. Fortunately, Groose is ready to go with the Groosenator.

When Link is ready, he drops into the pit. Approaching the Sealing Spike triggers another scene. The Imprisoned breaks out a third time. The first round of the battle is much like the previous battle. Groose is ready to go right away to stun the Imprisoned with a catapulted Bomb.

However, the first time the Imprisoned recovers from being struck, it will gain a method of flying! To knock it down, have Groose blast it with the Groosenator. This will stun it so that Link can hit the Sealing Spike.

During the third round, Groose will run into a serious problem: his Bomb supply is blocked off. Worse, the Imprisoned will fly up again. Link must use the updrafts to fly up to the top and talk to Groose. Groose has a plan. When Link climbs into the catapult, aim carefully to launch him onto the Imprisoned's head.

After Link has defeated the Imprisoned, he again has to hit the Sealing Spike with a Skyward Strike and make a series of directional slashes to restore the seal.

A brief scene takes place afterwards. Then, Link flies up with the updrafts and enters the Sealed Temple.

Sealed Temple (time 13:57):

In the temple, a scene takes place with Groose and the Old One. The Old One reveals that there is a flood in the Faron Woods. Groose offers to catapult Link over there.

Link saves at the Bird Statue in the temple. Then, he goes out the southern door.

Sealed Grounds (time 16:39):

Link talks to Groose on the Groosenator. He agrees to get catapulted into Faron Woods. In a scene, Groose gets it done.

Faron Woods (time 17:38):

A scene takes place as Link arrives in the flooded Faron Woods. The flooding here is serious indeed!

Link talks to Bucha the Kikwi on a large lotus leaf. Bucha reveals that the water came out the base of the Great Tree. The other Kikwi are also on lotus leaves throughout the area.

Afterwards, Link dives down deep and takes the entrance at the base of the Great Tree.

Inside the Great Tree (time 21:37):

In the Great Tree, Link finds floors B1 and 1F entirely flooded. There are some Parella to speak to, as well.

Up on floor 2F, Link can finally climb out onto a branch. As he approaches the southern exit, a scene takes place. He meets Faron, the Water Dragon. Fortunately, she remembers Link. However, she will test him before she teaches him her part of the Song of the Hero.

Faron Woods (time 26:03):

The scene continues outside. Faron disperses numerous Tadtones into Faron Woods and challenges Link to collect them all. Air Potion+ is helpful for this task, but it is not necessary. There are plenty of air bubbles around, and the Tadtones themselves will restore some air.

Near the high exit from the Great Tree's interior, Link finds the Great Tree Top statue. He saves there.

From a ledge in the northeast, Link can drop onto a lotus leaf to flip it over and dislodge a yellow individual Tadtone. He can then spin towards the Tadtone to collect it.

A second group of Tadtones are located in the water near Bucha. These are yellow. When getting a Tadtone group, Link must collect them all within a short time, or they will leave his score. Link can collect this group easily with a spin attack.

A third group of Tadtones is a quartet of turquoise ones swimming southwest of the Great Tree.
