Previously, Link gathered a few Goddess Cube chests. Then, with Scrapper's help, he borrowed Faron's Water Basin and transported it ALL THE WAY up Eldin Volcano to unlock the entrance to the Fire Sanctuary. Afterwards, he finished upgrading the Bug Net, the Bow, and the Sacred Shield to their most powerful forms. Now, he will begin exploring the game's sixth dungeon, the Fire Sanctuary, to seek Din's Flame.
Skyloft:
Link resumes near the Plaza on Skyloft. He dives off a nearby platform and calls his Loftwing.
The Sky (time 1:29):
Link dives into the red column of light and descends towards the Inside the Volcano destination.
Volcano Summit (time 2:21):
Link lands at the Inside the Volcano statue. After a chat with Gorko, he approaches the entrance to the Fire Sanctuary. A brief scene takes place as he enters the dungeon.
Fire Sanctuary (time 3:09):
Another brief scene takes place as Link arrives in the first room of the Fire Sanctuary. A Bird Statue is just east of the entrance.
Just ahead of the entrance, Link finds a lava pool. There is a green plant called a Water Fruit growing over it. Link shoots the Water Fruit with a ranged weapon to knock it into the lava. This freezes some of the lava and creates a temporary platform. Link uses it to cross to the other side.
Beyond, there is a river of lava flowing from the northwest to the southwest. Link knocks down another Water Fruit to create a platform. Since this lava is flowing, the platform will move. Link hops on and takes a ride. It will take him by some Green Bokoblin Archers, so he shoots them.
Link disembarks on the eastern walkway. He follows it north and west. After he takes out a Blue Bokoblin, a gate opens. Link opens the chest beyond for a Small Key. Link can grapple to the northwestern platform for pots that may contain goodies.
As Link approaches the northern door, he meets a Mogma named Guld. Guld warns Link about the dangers of treasure-hunting in a place like this. He also provides a hint that may help Link progress later in the dungeon.
Link goes through the locked northern door to the second room. He saves at the nearby Bird Statue. Down the stairway to the east, he encounters Dark Keese. If Link takes a direct hit from their attacks, he will be cursed and unable to use his sword for a short time. A Green Bokoblin Leader and a Blue Bokoblin are down the stairway.
Link takes the door to the third room. First, he goes northwest and finds a chest with a Red Rupee, worth 20 Rupees. Then, he takes the main path to the northeast. He finds a hexagonal grate over lava that has a bright moving circle. The moving circle is an enemy called a Magmanos. If Link stands on the grate, the Magmanos will pop out to attack him. Link does not have the means to defeat it yet.
For now, Link stands on the rock. The Magmanos pushes it up, and Link hops onto the nearby ledge. He uses his Bow to shoot a Green Bokoblin Archer on a higher ledge. Up the vines, he finds a couple more Green Bokoblin Archers, one a Leader. He also shoots another archer on a ledge across the way.
Link grabs onto the next vine-covered wall and follows the vines around to another ledge. Then, he drops down to find a Bird Statue and a door leading west.
Link takes the door west to the central part of the second room. He is forced into an encounter with a Dark Lizalfos, a new variant. He fights it like other Lizalfos. However, its breath can inflict curse.
After defeating the Dark Lizalfos, Link takes the door leading west. He arrives in the fourth room. There are Cursed Spumes in the lava, and there are also Bokoblins on the western platform. Link takes them all out with the Bow. There is a Water Fruit over the lava, but the lava is not flowing, so the resulting platform would stay still.
On the wall in the northeast, there is a head statue dispensing lava, but a boulder in the mouth is blocking the lava flow. Link sends the Beetle through the northern tunnel to pick up a Bomb Flower and then blow up the boulder. With the lava flowing, Link can now knock down the Water Fruit to make a platform that will move south and west. When he reaches the western platform, he takes the northern door.
This takes Link to the southern part of the fifth room. A scene takes place. He finds an unfortunate Mogma named Silva hanging from a chain over some lava! He'd better find a way to help the poor guy. First, though, he follows the path east and north. There are patches of magma ash on the floor, and they will hurt if Link steps on them. He clears them up with the Gust Bellows. In the northeast of the room, he finds a chest containing a Small Key.
The description is continued in the comments.
