This is video #12 in my playthrough of Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line for the Nintendo Switch.

Previously, the party began grinding in Rendarak to prepare for the game's final dungeon. They will now continue gaining strength against Rendarak's cheap monsters.

The party resumes at the Rendarak Shrine. They leave and continue grinding in Hargon's winter wasteland.

At Level 36, Isolde of Moonbrooke learns her last spell, Click. This handy spell can unlock any door, whether it is silver, gold, or jailor's. At this point, you can put the keys away if you wish. I will just keep them around.

About halfway through the video, they move their grinding to the woods north of the shrine, where stronger enemies like Gigantes, Batmandrills, and Archdemons appear more often.

A little later, Thomas of Cannock equips the Falcon Blade so he can execute two physical attacks per round.

A Gigantes drops a Sword of Ruin. This sword has high attack power, but it is cursed.

Towards the end, the party Zooms to Burrowell. At the armoury, they sell the Sword of Ruin for 11,250 gold. Then, they buy a Mink Mantle for 65,000 gold for Isolde of Moonbrooke. She transfers the Flowing Dress to Thomas of Cannock.

The party Zooms back to the Rendarak Shrine to rest and save. Davilas of Midenhall is at Level 43, Thomas of Cannock Level 42, and Isolde of Moonbrooke Level 40.

Next time, the party will infiltrate the final dungeon, Hargon's Castle, and confront the evil priest himself.
