Before heading to the seat of the Gittish Empire, the party will take care of some weapon skill quests.

They still have Quest 066: Operation Multithrust in their list of active quests. Lance in Swinedimples Academy offers this quest when at least one party member has maxed out the Spear Skill. This quest involves killing multiple Gloomy Gastropogs with Multithrust in the same battle five times. The best place to find Gloomy Gastropogs is the Gittish Empire. This will also present a good opportunity to explore the Gittish Empire region.

So, the party Zooms to the Gortress to begin exploring the Gittish Empire. In the poison swamp south of the Gortress, the party might find Manky Mud (time 2:28).

While they are exploring the area, Debora reaches Armamentalist Level 38 and earns 6 skill points (time 3:33).

By the monument on the northwest hill, the party may be able to find Gleeban Guineas (time 4:35).

Before long, the party meets up with a pair of Gloomy Gastropogs (time 5:34). It will help to boost the tension of the Multithrust user and to cast Oomph on that person. When dealing with Gloomy Gastropogs, watch out for confusion and sleep. Boosting speed with Acceleratle will help, too.

After a while, they encounter the second pair of Gloomy Gastropogs (time 9:48).

A little while later, they meet up with the third pair of Gloomy Gastropogs (time 15:07).

Soon afterwards, they encounter the fourth pair of Gloomy Gastropogs (time 19:18). It sure is easier when the party gets a preemptive strike.

Right after that, they encounter the fifth and final pair of Gloomy Gastropogs (time 21:42).

When this is done, they Zoom back to Swinedimples Academy and check in with Lance in the school building's west hall (time 27:27). The reward is a book named 'Clear Spear Theory'. Whichever party member has that book in inventory and a spear equipped can use the devastating Lightning Storm attack.
