Lightning has just visited Moogle Village to conclude the "Where Are You, Moogle?" quest. She also defeated the Rafflesia Omega and Hanuman Omega.

She will now head back towards the crash site to the north to visit Sazh. To do this, she heads through the Rocky Crag again. The Rocky Crag area is quite lovely at night, but now that the Valis and Hanumans are exterminated, look out for Aster Protoflorians everywhere. If you mean to fight them, be sure to have spells of multiple elements in your Schemata.

Light does not head all the way north through the Rocky Crag. Instead, she takes a right turn down a path that leads to a ledge overlooking the Eremite Plains (time 6:37). Rather than hopping down into the plains, Lightning heads to the western end of the ledge (time 8:55) and uses her chocobo to glide to a plateau in the west corner. This is a tricky jump. On this little plateau, there is a treasure ball containing a Watergod Bracelet, which gives Lightning Enfrost for the first 60 seconds of battle.

While heading back to Sazh's ship, Lightning will search for airship wreck data for the "Omega Point" quest. On a western plateau, she finds the first piece of wreckage to examine (time 10:15).

The second piece of wreckage is just to the north on another steppe (time 10:45).

The third piece of wreckage is just northwest of Sazh and Dajh's airship cabin (time 11:44).

Hey, the chocobo chick is back in Sazh and Dajh's cabin (time 12:07)! It is now time to deliver the Soul Fragments by talking to Sazh. Ah, now we know who Chocolina really is!

In another scene, Sazh encounters technical difficulties trying to open the coffer of souls (time 13:13). Eventually, Sazh figures it out, and we get some touching scenes, marred only by the presence of Lumina.

After this, the second main quest of the Wildlands will be completed! Pretty easy. Lightning earns 5,000 gil, an Afro & Yellow Chick, a Dajh's Patch, an increase in Max EP, and another recovery item slot. Not bad at all.

Also, the player earns the "A Father, a Son, and a Chocobo" trophy for completing this main quest. The original recording got messed up, so the trophy isn't shown here.

The fourth and final piece of airship wreckage for "Omega Point" can be reached from the northeastern plateau in the plains (time 20:06).

With that, Lightning heads back to the Research Camp (time 22:08). Hey, the Adventuring Essentials peddler here sells Vegetable Seeds!

The Stubborn Old Man in the town will now allow Lightning to plant crops in his field (time 22:38). Before he will allow this, Lightning must have successfully planted and harvested crops elsewhere.

Lightning then talks with Tilda about "Dog, Doctor, and Assistant" (time 23:14). This quest was to bring 4 Dayring Blossoms, 2 Moonsoul Blossoms, and 5 Goopy Goos so that Tilda could make medicine for the dog. Light now has all the materials, so she hands over the ingredients. Lightning learns the real name of Dr. Gysahl's assistant. Tilda hands over some Animal Potion, in case the Angel of Valhalla is still in need of recovery items. But he isn't. To conclude this quest, Light must chat with Thirteen in Canopus Farms later.

Lightning then talks to the Research Leader about the "Omega Point" quest (time 24:38). The Research Leader seems to have found an audio clip in the readings that Lightning took. Spooky! The prizes for this quest include 1,600 gil, an Aerial Guard's Badge, and boosts to Max HP, Strength, and Magic.
