The statue we're looking for is actually quite easy to find. Remember first meeting Jess at the start of the game? That's the statue in question. Zoom to Alexandria and use Holy Protection or something to lower encounter rates,and head to the top of the dungeon. Examine the statue and attempt to leave to trigger a cutscene. You'll get the jewels you're after when it finishes. Zoom back to Arcadia after that,and make sure to save and rest up. You'll see Dominico treating David like crap again. Give him the jewels and he'll make you his bodyguard,and let you access some treasure and books in his basement. After getting a book he wants,Jessica has apparently returned again! Head out and get ready for a fight!
