This is video #074 in my Dragon Quest X for PC gameplay series. This video contains commentary. To view the non-commentary version, click here: https://youtu.be/xxxJ91ZRaxM

Previously, Davilas the human earned his next-to-last Key Emblem, the Silver Key Emblem, by completing the events in the Wedi capital, Verinaado. Just one Key Emblem remains: the one from Doruwaamu, the Dwarf capital. Davilas has already made his way there.

Upon logging in, Davilas reaches Minstrel Level 54, just by being hired as a support character (time 0:30). Very nice!

Over at Doruwaamu's pub, Davilas hires a party of support characters (time 2:13). I have found that you can use the second option to refine the search based on the type of weapon the character has equipped. Quite handy.

Afterwards, Davilas heads into Doruwaamu Castle through the entrance at D-4 (time 5:43). This castle has an elevator, but it goes clear up to the fourth floor. There is no option to stop at the second or third floor.

Davilas uses the northern stairway to head up to the second floor (time 6:28). From there, he heads up to the third floor (time 6:48).

At D-2 on the third floor, Davilas goes through the northern doorway (time 7:07). A scientific type named Dura emerges from the room and talks to the guard, Chioruta. Chioruta will make some comments.

Davilas next has to go up to the throne room. To get to the central portion of the castle, he can use the nearby teleporter at E-2 (time 8:29). From there, he goes up the stairway at D-4 to the fourth floor (time 9:04).

From the fourth floor, the northern stairway at E-3 leads to the upper part of the castle (time 9:34). A set of platforms leads upwards.

Finally, Davilas finds the entrance to the throne room at E-5 (time 10:15). In this scene, we meet King Uraado. Runana from the starting Dwarf storyline and Chiri from the Gatara storyline are also here. Chiri seems to be friends with Prince Ramiza. Dura has some interesting capabilities to turn dark rocks into gleaming rocks. After the main event is over, Runana approaches Davilas to give him a task. She wants him to help her get something from Karusadora Mountain to the east.

As Davilas leaves the throne room, an event occurs with Prince Ramiza and Chiri (time 15:33). The prince seems to be suffering from a lack of confidence.

After the events, Davilas backtracks out of the castle, using the elevator at D-4 to get from the fourth floor to the first floor (time 17:33).

Once he has left the castle, he heads out to Eastern Goburu Desert (time 19:02). He uses the carriage to ride to the Oasis to the east (time 19:34). At the Oasis, he sets a Ruura Stone there (time 20:29).

Then, he sets out for Karusadora Mountain. The entrance is at G-7 (time 22:11). A scene takes place as he enters the area. A pair of dwarves comes out with a dark stone. Then, Runana and her Dwarf flunkies appear. The Dwarf stationed here gives davilas a red cloth.

Afterwards, Davilas can begin to explore Karusadora Mountain (time 24:20). This area is a volcanic cave. It contains appropriately hot enemies such as Killer Torches and Hell Ninos. The in-game map has been changed a bit since it was posted on the site that I am using for reference.

At B-3 on the first floor, there is a black chest (time 26:25). It contains three platinum chunks.

At D-3, there is a farming spot for Lava Lumps (time 27:11).

At C-6, Davilas goes upstairs to the second floor (time 30:15).

At B-5 on the second floor, there is a farming spot for Lava Lumps (time 30:36).

At D-4, there is a black chest (time 31:27). It contains three more of those items that look like flaming horses.

On the bridge at E-4, there is a farming point for "Hokahoka" Stone (time 31:48).

At F-5, Davilas finds the door to the boss's room (time 32:08). This is the Karusadora Lava Tube. A pair of Poison Salamanders appear right away. One of the main considerations while fighting these guys is their poison breath. They have an ability that can boost their defence and magic resistance.

After the Poison Salamanders have been beaten, another scene plays (time 35:49). Runana and her dwarf flunkies show up. Her flunkies dig up a massive dark stone covered with a cloth. Runana is absolutely delighted. So delighted, in fact, that she rewards Davilas with a tiny fragment. Gee, thanks, Runana.

The Poison Salamanders can drop Large Scales. Very interesting.

Davilas Evacs out of the dungeon (time 39:57) and then Zooms back to Doruwaamu (time 40:22). A cutscene takes place as he arrives. A minstrel named Fumiimi will be singing near the entrance of town.

Description continued in the comments.
