Previously, the party reached the camp in the middle of Napugaana Jungle, where Camus gave Davilas use of his alchemy table, the Mysterious Blacksmith. Davilas has already hammered out a few useful upgrades. Now, the party will continue traveling southeast.

Unfortunately, south of the cabin, they find that the bridge has been wrecked (time 1:27). This is most inconvenient, eh?

On the northern side of the cabin, they find a dog (time 1:49). The poor fellow does not seem very happy.

East of the cabin, they find a root that has been marked on the map (time 2:20). When Davilas examines it, it reacts with the mark on his hand. It shows a scene from the near past. The local woodsman arrives at the nearby bridge. He had just repaired it, but it has been destroyed again. Suddenly, the perpetrator, the Mischief Devil, pops out! The little twerp transforms the woodsman into a dog. Then, the Mischief Devil bounds to a treasure chest. Hm, I seem to remember an empty chest nearby...

We regain control after the scene (time 5:09). Now, the party has to find the Mischief Devil.

The chest in the northwest has been conveniently marked on the map (time 6:22). As the party approaches, the Mischief Devil pops out. He is disappointed by the party's lack of surprise.

Afterwards, the party must fight the Mischief Devil (time 7:15). This little twerp has Sizz spells. Unfortunately, splitting the party up does not seem to prevent the AOE from hitting both of them. Heal spells from the hero will serve well to keep the party alive.

A scene will occur after the battle (time 9:35). After the Mischief Devil dies, the curse on the woodsman evaporates. The woodsman's name is Mampuku. After thanking the party, he gets hard to work fixing the southern bridge. After the bridge is fixed, he identifies the root near his cabin as a root of the Tree of Life. Apparently, roots of this nature react to the hero's mark and show him visions of the past. This could be quite handy.

After the scene, the party can now continue south across the bridge (time 12:39). The player earns the trophy "The Hero's Power". The merchant has now relocated to the southern end of the bridge. New enemies, including Big Hats and Tap Devils, will begin appearing in this area.

At the southern end of the south-central area, there is a tree to shake (time 15:31). It offers Red Berries, Flurry Feathers, and Beautiful Branches.

In the southeastern section, there is a farming spot in the northwest (time 16:35). The party can find Beautiful Branches here.

Atop the rope to the east, there is a mining point (time 18:03). The party can find Copper Ore and Flintstones here.

Also nearby, there is a chest containing a Single Phial (time 18:19).

Off the road to the north, there is a farming point for Small Scales (time 18:50).

Continuing on, Davilas reaches Level 9 (time 19:25). He learns "Riremito", or Evac. He gains 3 skill points for a total of 6. Also, Camus reaches Level 9. He earns 3 skill points for a total of 5. Camus spends 3 skill points for the Boomerang ability Slime Blow.

The exit to the east leads the party to the southwest portion of Derukadaaru Field (time 21:14). A pesky NPC was previously blocking access to Napugaana Jungle here.

To the south, the party heads into Ishi Village (time 22:17). Things seem nice enough, but whose is that puppy? Talking around, Davilas will find that folks do not recognize him.

Davilas heads into his adoptive mother Perura's house (time 23:55). However, she too does not recognize him. Apparently, Davilas is a six-year-old boy. She kicks him out. Outside, a barking puppy will alert him to a crying little girl by the tree across from the item shop.

Davilas approaches the little girl (time 25:38). He chooses to fetch the little girl's scarf. She thanks him and identifies herself as Emma. Hearing Davilas's name, she says that there is also a little boy named Davilas. She and the puppy will lead the way to where the boy Davilas is.

The description is continued in the comments.
