Previously, the party infiltrated Derukadaaru Temple and recovered the Red Orb. Now, they must head farther east through Deruka Costa.
At the house on the sea, the party chats with the fisherman on the pier (time 1:46). I think he's directing them east towards a shrine.
The party must dismount to proceed east under the tree (time 2:25).
A scene takes over as they reach the eastern expanse (time 2:48). Derukadaaru soldiers, led by General Greg, have caught up with them. General Greg still believes Davilas is a demon child. Thanks to the Magic Stone, the party makes their escape through a teleportal in the southeastern shrine.
On the other side, the party arrives at the eastern end of the Homusubi Mountains on the southeastern continent (time 5:47). The player earns the trophy "Standing in the Wilderness" for reaching this point (time 6:20). They are just outside the teleportal shrine, but they cannot get back through, at least not right now. A priest and a vendor are located nearby.
The party heads west and begins exploring Homusubi Mountains. This is a volcanic area with hot springs. There are many new enemies here, including She-Slimes, Garudas, and Drum Beaters.
East of the town, there is a farming spot for Hot Stones (time 11:50).
During the exploration, Davilas reaches Level 11 (time 16:18). He gains 3 skill points. Also, Camus reaches Level 11 and gains 3 skill points.
On the plateau south of town, there is a farming spot for Lava Lumps (time 16:59).
South of the volcano, there is a mining spot for Copper Ore and Iron Ore (time 18:39).
Past the log bridge to the west, the party can summon a horse for faster exploration.
In the southwestern deserty section, there is a farming point for Beast Bone (time 21:45).
In a dead end, there is a farming point for Glass Frit (time 22:04).
In the south, there is a chest containing Mini Medal #005 (time 22:55).
On a ledge west of the campsite, there is a foraging point for Wakerobins (time 23:56).
To the west, there is a mining spot for Iron Ore and Copper Ore (time 24:12).
Also, there is a shrine locked with a Magic Key door in the west (time 24:56). Bring on that Magic Key!
On the way to town, the party checks out Hinonogi Volcano (time 26:09). Not much is accessible yet, but there are two resource points.
On the northern branch, there is a farming point for Lava Lumps (time 27:20).
On the eastern branch, there is another farming point for Lava Lumps (time 27:53).
The party heads back south to Homusubi Mountains (time 28:27).
To the east, the party finds the next town, Homura (time 29:09). The town music here comes from the Jipang town music in Dragon Quest III. A scene occurs as they arrive. A townsperson comes by to tout the town's steam baths. Camus decides it will be a good idea for him to use the steam bath. He will be there while Davilas explores the town.
Davilas will explore the town next time.
Thanks for watching!
