Dragon Quest XI [Jp,PS4] Playthrough #016, Homura Town: No Kids Allowed in the Pub

Previously, after the party acquired the Red Orb in Derukadaaru Temple, General Greg caught up with them. They escaped through a teleportal leading to Homusubi Mountains on the southeast continent. They have reached the town of Homura, which Davilas is now about to explore while Camus hits up the steam bath.
In the house west of the entrance, a wardrobe contains some Thread (time 2:40).
In the western house, a wardrobe contains 100 Gold (time 3:36). Also, there is a bookshelf with a book that contains Mini Medal references.
Behind the western house, a chest contains Mini Medal #006 (time 4:31).
On the second level of town on the western side, there is an item shop (time 6:21). The wares include Slime Earrings.
Behind the item shop, barrels contain a Hephaestus Flame and a Copper Ore (time 7:19).
In the crafting area, Davilas finds a sturdy-looking man with a quest (time 7:44). He offers Quest 6: "Craftsman's Mining Exercise" ("親方の採掘指南"). He wants Davilas to mine for Iron Ore in the Homusubi Mountains area.
Davilas has already found some, so he offers some to the man (time 9:00). However, the man does not really need it, so he returns it. He also gives Davilas a recipe book for iron weapons: Iron Sword and Iron Greatsword. Quest 6 complete!
West of the crafting area, there is a farming point for Flurry Feathers (time 10:33).
The chief's house is in the northwest of town on the upper level. On the northeast of the deck, there is a chest containing 5 Redo Gems (time 11:53).
On ground level on the northeast side of the chief's house, one of the pots contains a Strong Medicine (time 13:58).
Down the slope south of the chief's house, there is a farming point for Cotton (time 14:55).
In the north of the lowest level of town, there is a farming point for Hot Stone (time 16:20).
An uninteresting item shop is in the east of the lowest level of town (time 17:24). It sells Medicinal Herbs, Antidotal Herbs, and Chimaera Wings.
On the southeastern side of the eastern item shop, a pot contains 20 Gold (time 17:56).
Behind the inn, a chest contains a recipe book for Bronze Armour (time 18:10).
In the second room upstairs in the inn, a wardrobe contains Plain Clothes (time 19:31). Simply amazing.
As Davilas heads upstairs towards the pub, a scene occurs (time 20:13). A little girl in red is getting bounced from the pub! Apparently, no little children are allowed in the pub. Then, when she meets Davilas, he introduces himself to her. He will be seeing her again soon.
On the south side of the deck behind the pub, a pot contains 14 Gold (time 22:47).
On the north side of the deck, pots contain 6 Gold and a Single Phial (time 23:03).
On the northwest corner of the deck behind the pub, Davilas finds another quest-giver (time 23:15). He issues Quest 5: "Artisan Blacksmith's Love" ("鍛冶職人の親心"). He wants a Gold Ring +1 to give as a gift. A +2 or +3 ring will also be acceptable. When Davilas accepts the quest, he gives Davilas the Gold Ring recipe. The reward will be a Crucerang, a new weapon for Camus.
Next to the quest-giver, Davilas finds a chest containing 2 Gold Chunks (time 24:52). Just what he needs to make the ring!
In the house east of the pub, the pots contain a Beast Hide and some Thread (time 26:18).
In the equipment shop, the weapon shop sells iron swords and greatswords (time 26:48). I would not use my money; they can be made easily enough through crafting. However, if Camus is using knives, the Poison Moth Knife for 950 Gold is a good option. At the armour shop, the Bronze Shield for Davilas and the Chain Armour for Camus are both good buys.
Then, Davilas heads up the hill towards the steam bath house. He will check it out next time.
