This is the final stretch of the game and let me tell you something, up to this point I had really enjoyed the game, but in the end the game became somewhat monotonous. Why? Because of the "all bosses escape from you" bullsh*! I mean every time you fight any of the main villains, they always escape, you never actually kill them and by the end of the game, it can be treated as a cliche element. Whenever there's a dialogue with the defeated boss, it's 100% chance the boss will escape or be spared. SO ANNOYING! And finally, the last boss. They really went over the top with that one. For 99% of the game, the player faces mild challenge with some randomness when it comes to making the character stronger. But in the end, the final boss makes the difficulty skyrocket. The first form is a total mystery to me; I am completely clueless what's his pattern or weakness, it seems to block 90% of hits. The only effective strategy I found was thunder magic and yet it still would sometimes do good damage, sometimes do far too little damage to be of any help until you run out of mana. That is why you will sometimes see me die on purpose, to load the game again and hope this time the magic will deal more damage. Finally, I managed to get to the second form. After many attempts, I finally defeated him... or so I though! Throughout the whole game, you get used to the fact that after dealing the final blow, the boss falls and lies for a while before a cutscene starts. So to my astonishment, in the case of the final fight, the boss just regains some of his health, stands up and continues the fight. After another defeat (because of a total surprise), I decided that I need a break (my fingers hurt af). Still, this video presents almost all my boss attempts (except for one more, which appeared to be successful and which was uploaded as the final part of the playthrough).
