This is an in-depth review of Dragon's Crown for the PS3, by Vanillaware/Atlus. It's a 2D side-scrolling Beat 'Em Up with RPG elements. The game takes place in a fantasy kingdom known as Hydeland, where it beset on all side by various creatures, conspirators, and cultists. The land's only hope is the fabled Dragon's Crown and the power it holds. Unfortunately the king has gone missing and it is up to the brave adventurer(s) to save the day. With various references to D&D and other games/literature of high fantasy, even a humorous reference to "Monty Python and The Holy Grail", you can tell they really put some effort in an attempt to make this game really shine.
