Hello, peter47890 here or Sirus and welcome to my review for Dragon's Crown. Now, being a fan of Muramasa the demon blade, I have to say I was pretty interested in getting this game since it was being developed by valliaware and it was a 2d sidescrolling beat em up/ action rpg, which seems pretty similar to Muramasa though ablit still different just from seeing the footage from how the 2d field in DC is a muliplane field compared to muramasa singular plane field, the setting being dramatically different from muramasa's setting being feudal japan to Dragon's Crown medieval setting, DC being more loot driven, and etc. So suffice to say, I was intrigued by the game when I heard it was coming out though I didn't really play it till like 2 months later after its initial release since I did want to play co op with my brother at least once since I heard that this game does have an emphasis on multiplayer with it having a party system in terms of combat. And my brother and I didn't really have a chance and sit down to play this game till like a week or 2 ago. But now that I did experience a co op expereince with my brother and have done a normal, hard and infernal playthrough of the game, I would like to give what my overall impression of the game is. So without futher adeu, let's begin this Review. Dragon's Crown is a side scrolling beat em up/action rpg that was developed by vanlliaware and published by Atlus. It is available for ps3 and psvita and I think crossplay functionality was added after its initial release.

Developer: Vanillaware
Publisher: Atlus
Platform: PS3, PS VIta

Pros:
-Beautiful 2d sprtiework and backdrops with great animations
- extremly good 2d beat em up combat with varied and fun classes
- good progression system and loot system

Cons:
- uninspired story and chracters
-relatively slow start
-computer ally ai

Summary:

Overall, I say Dragon's Crown got really addicting gameplay with the 2d beat em up combat, the classes being unique and fun to play through, the structure of the game being pretty well designed, the progression system via skill tree and getting loot being pretty good, and the bosses being just a blast to fight.

Overall, I say Dragon's Crown is a really enjoyable game. The game is beautiful to look at with the 2d spritework and beautiful backdrops, the animations being top notch, the 2d beat em up style being addicting with it having 6 character classes that are varied and are fun to play through, it having a decent amount of content, and the bosses being generally enjoyable. The cons of the game is probably the uninspiring story and characters, the cursor being pretty clunky to use, how the game have a relatively slow start, and etc. but I still say I would recommend the game if you are looking for a beautiful game to sink your teeth in .

Note: if your wandering how long it took me to beat the game totally, about 50 hours.
