Part one of a complete playthrough of Drill Dozer (aka Screw Breaker in Japan) by Game Freak for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. Jill of the Red Dozer team sets off to retrieve the Red Diamond stolen from her by the rival thieving group known as the Skullkers.

Drill Dozer is a fun side-scrolling platform game by the team behind the Pokemon series. The player takes on the roll of Jill, the leader of the Red Dozer thieves, who pilots the titular Drill Dozer. Using the shoulder buttons, the player can dig through enemies and obstacles the Dozer's drill. The drill can also be used in various means to traverse through the stage and solve problems as well. For a handheld game, the levels are quite large with many places to explore and find treasure.

The first stage starts the game off with infiltrating the Skullker base in search of the Red Diamond. The level introduces the player to simple mechanics of the game; namely the gearshift upgrade system. Throughout every level, there are two gear upgrades placed which allow for stronger and more continuous drilling. At the end of the level, the player will face off against the first boss in the game, a Skullker piloting a missile-firing tank.
