Drop Dead: The Cabin Review - soul assembly, quest 2
Welcome back to a special edition of badger Plays VR
Thanks to the people at Soul Assembly we have had the opportunity to play, Some Drop Dead: the cabin,
https://soulassembly.com/
Drop dead the cabin is native to the quest and can be found in the quest store released on February 16 2023
In drop dead the cabin you play a pair of backpackers lost in the woods who stumble upon an old abandoned cabin.
Firing up on old generator you are able to restore power and send a radio signal for help.
But.....you are not alone - the forest is filled with Zombies created by an experiment. They will try and slaughter you and stop
you from escaping.
The aim of the game is to survive the waves of zombies -
Keep the generator fueled, & stop the Zombies from destroying the battery,
so a signal can be sent for a rescuer pilot to come and get you.
Drop dead the Cabin can be played Solo - but is best played with a friend.
Team up and get a high five revive, cause you are going to die, die alot.
But each time you die, your character levels up with Xp, better equipping you for the next round. In your search for generator fuel their are numerous weapons to find & areas to be unlocked.
These can be unlocked by gaining research points through killing ZS.
There's an 80's vibe throughout, an exciting soundtrack,
splashes of neon in the dark - and some lovely bodywarmers.
I'm getting a feeling of evil dead and thinking of changing my name to ASH - or Bruce -- probably Bruce!
Its impressive how well this runs on the quest 2, and it's highly addictive - "one more for the road" can soon turn into 10 more for the road.
This is an exciting fast paced game, and great fun in COOP - Could it be improved - yes, an extra player or maybe 2 and a give me a chainsaw.
Drop Dead The cabin gets a 4 Badger rating from me- and i can't wait to escape -
