Drunken NES Gaming - Predator!
1Recorded this a few weeks ago, then left it sitting around doing nothing.
Wow... this is shit. Total and utter shit. Want those grenades? Fine. What to progress any further? TOO BAD!
I'd played it a couple of times before recording (ignoring the first grenade pickup) and somehow managed to get *much* further, up to the point where the gameplay changed to BIG MODE (which is something like five levels in, and utterly incomprehensible).
Not that it matters, because it was still a massive heap of cowshit all the way.
You slide all over the place, you can't duck and punch ("fucking WHAT?"), enemies run all over the place like hyperactive assholes, and the jumping is awful; if you don't jump far enough for your entire playersprite to land, you'll just fall through the fucking floor. And of course, there's the unfavourable act of being lobbed several feet everytime you take damage.
Fuck this game.
Total Recall... The Terminator... and now Predator. Is it just me, or is any game based on a movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger in it doomed to be utter shit?
