DuckStation is an excellent PlayStation 1 emulator, arguably the best. I wanted to make a guide that's easy to follow, but also shows the wide variety of features it offers. If you're looking for the best PS1 emulator with high accuracy and all of the options you could want, you definitely need to try out DuckStation.

Some people still want to use ePSXe, but it's no longer a good option. Bad blogs and other websites still recommend it, and it was very popular in the past. So that's why it's still used, but it's no longer a good option.

Important note: You've probably seen a lot of posts on social media about the emulator being dead, but this is not entirely true. Stenzek himself said he hasn't made any major changes in over a year. There's only so much work that can be done on an emulator once all of the fixes are made and all of the possible enhancements are done. It's still without a doubt, a top PS1 emulator.
