Dude plays MS-DOS Doom E3M2: Slough Of Despair (100%)!
3Well hey, hey there folks, and welcome to what is clearly been my first gaming video in a week for the MS-DOS version of the very original Doom in this specific video today I will blast my way through E3M2 The Slough Of Despair, and man o man I consider this one of the somewhat more difficult levels not just of this episode Inferno itself but somewhat of the entire game as a whole as is probably evident by some of the trouble I was having playing this map as there are a lot of enemies in these maze-like corridors that could randomly come around the corners and corner you into a spot where you can't escape unless you take them out with your fists or weapons and that's not always a guarantee of course as they could end up slaying you before that's even possible so which is why I try and avoid that as much as I can in this level. Something that also can make this a somewhat challenging and difficult level is how you seem to start out with a pretty minuscule amount of ammunition in a lot of your weapons and that definitely does not help as such.
Anyway, now onto secret areas there are only three altogether to find on this level, however, the second one can be rather tricky to find as I had to watch Bigmacdavis's video for this level not once but several times just to make sure I knew where exactly this secret area as it is one of the more well-hidden ones found in this map and I at first when doing an attempted previous recording for this map assumed I knew the location of this particular secret area like the palm of my hand boy o boy though was I wrong or what though which is why it was frustrating to have to watch Bicmacdavis's video for this several times over just to find out where exactly this second secret area was but luckily, I did get the hang of it and I find just where it is in this video. Anyway, as usual, I am gonna go ahead and label what part of the video these secret areas are located in numerical numbers below:

And whelp, that is all the secret areas for this level Slough Of Despair here folks. Okay, and now quickly onto gameplay and now taking out all the enemies in this map is pretty easy actually but you just want to make sure you search all the mazes as that can make enemies not only easy to miss but items as well like ammunition for the rocket launcher and the Plasma-Weapon hard to find as those tend to replenish ammunition pretty good for those specific firearms and now finding all the health and armor bonuses in this map is pretty easy too as there are only a few areas with a number of them present and that is another surprisingly element of this level too just like anything though you want to make sure you do a good practice run of this level after watching say Bigmacdavis's video or other Youtube Gamers who do 100% walkthroughs as well.
