This is a DX7 game, so we're stuck with WineD3D here. I did try to get it running with both DXWrapper and DGVoodoo2, but didn't succeed. Also, no MangoHud this time because of that.

Steam Launch Options: width=1920 height=1080 bpp=32 nointro=true

Max natively supported is 1024x768 and the UI doesn't scale, so don't go too wild. The game deals with wider than 4:3 by cutting off the top and bottom (Vert-), but you can hex edit the .exe to do Horz+ instead. All info taken from PCGW/WSGF. This example is for 16:9, in my experience it messes up the main menu and doesn't apply to save games from before the edit was applied: sed -i 's/\x00\x00\xF0\x41\x00\x00\x70\x42/\x00\x00\xF0\x41\x3A\x5B\x96\x42/g' DungeonSiege.exe

Of course, you don't absolutely need to do any of this. You can just launch the game and play it in 4:3.

The expansion pack Legends of Aranna is not available digitally, but can be downloaded from a link on its PCGW page. Once you have extracted the XP folder to the game folder, you can load the XP by also adding these to the launch options: res_paths=XP map_paths=!XP

System specs:
* Motherboard: ASRock B550M PG Riptide (+ Intel 7265NGW)
* CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D (+ Deepcool LE720)
* RAM: 2x16GB G.Skill Aegis DDR4-3200 CL16
* GPU: ASUS TUF RTX 4070 Ti
* Storage: 2TB Crucial P3 Plus, 2TB Intel 660p
* PSU: Corsair SF750
* Case: Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini

Distro: Nobara 40, Plasma Wayland

Game capture was done using a separate PC, so there is no performance loss.
