Native to the lower plane known as the Tarterian Depths of Carceri, Tarterian dragons combine the very worst aspects of green and black dragons, they are the jailors and predators of the vile tyrants and sadists sent to this grim realm for all eternity. When they do find their way to the Prime Material Plane, they transform it into a mirror of their native dungeon dimension and stock it with savage and cruel, hate fuelled horrors.
