Session VI - Part 9 Summary:

Zacsarrd fails his first Death Save and can only fail two more before dying.

Irontooth takes down Coltaine with a vicious chop.

Nick rolls a 20 on Coltaine's Death Save--but the warlord has no more healing surges left to spend, so cannot rejoin the battle.

John's luck is the antithesis of Nick's, as he rolls a 1 on Zacsarrd's Death Save--and can only fail one more.

Irontooth charges Jacques, who has not taken any damage in the past two sessions. The goblin's axe bites into the wizard for 7 damage.

In an unprecedented twist of fate, John rolls a 20 on his Death Save mere moments after rolling a 1--but the dragonborn, too, has no healing surges left to spend.

Irontooth chops Jacques to 4/23 HP.

Rekoj engages Irontooth and slashes him with his scimitar.

Round 11 ends.

Irontooth strikes Jacques down, and the goblin and Rekoj battle it out in a clash of the titans. In the end, the goliath's scimitar prevails, and Irontooth drops to a knee, raises a clawed hand to the air and cries out, "Kalarel and Lord Orcus, prepare my way!"
