Duo-R-ventures #1 - PC Engine Duo-R boot menu!
If you turn on the PC Engine Duo-R without a game in the HuCard slot, you are presented with the console's boot screen--from here, pressing the Run button will attempt to run a game disc in the CD-ROM drive.
Pressing Select, on the other hand, which is what I do here (there is no sound in these menus : o), takes you to a menu in Japanese, where you can edit the Duo-R's internal backup RAM. The first option lets you delete individual game saves, the second lets you format the entire backup RAM, and the third takes you back to the boot screen. Simple!

Late last year I finally dragged my Duo-R out of storage for the first time in about nine years, I think, and just got it back from being fixed up and modded: it would act as if you were pressing all the controller's buttons at once unless you were pulling down on the controller's plug, so I got that fixed; and I needed to be able to record clean video, so I had it RGB video modded : D, and had all the capacitors replaced which supposedly helps avoid them melting down and/or causing discolored bars to appear across the screen eventually. It works great now and looks really sharp, thanks to RetroFools for the modding and repair work!
Now I have a lot of PC Engine games to re-explore. : oo
