Dying Light 2 - Part 20 - Drinking Games
0Hey everyone and welcome back to Dying Light 2.
We still need to find something from the old world that Juan would want to trade for his help. We travel to the hotel that Lawan tells us about but find nothing at first. There is a voicemail still waiting on the phone that tells us about a helicopter coming to the roof. We check out the roof for any valuables but find no paintings. There is some whiskey & vodka that we might be able to give to Juan for his cooperation. Lawan tells us that Danior in the fish eye loves vodka and it might be a good way for us to get to know everyone. This is an option part of the quest but its a nice way to get to know the characters even better. Lawan, Rowe and some others begin a drinking game using the new vodka.
After a few drinks everyone begins talking about themselves and there past, we are able to learn more about them. However it does not take long for things to turn nasty and Lawan becomes upset. Lawan does not like to talk about the hitlist she has created, I still feel she is keeping something big from us. After the party we head back to Juan to hand him the whiskey to get his help. We drink together and speak about the UV lamps. Juan thinks that Jack Matt is crazy for wanting to take the radio tower again after what happened last time. Juan also tells us that the electricity is not flowing properly in that area so the UV lamps might not work. Juan does not seems to trust Jack and even has some information about the Colonel & The Butcher. Juan says he would be able to find our scientist quicker than Jack, but after all the trouble we have had with him I would rather stick with Jack. Juan tells us of the person we need to speak with about the lamps and gives us a location.
Once we arrive there is an area filled with zombies and a shop that has been boarded up from the inside. We clear out all the zombies and knock to see if anyone is there, suddenly we are attacked by a huge charging zombie. This zombie has so much health and even calls in some smaller ones to attack us. Unfortunately during this fight we encounter a bug that stops us from progressing. We are told to take down a zombie that has already been killed stopping us from continuing. We try a few things to kick start the quest and eventually we are able to trigger it using some equipment.
Inside the shop there are a few survivors who watched us take down the Zombies, they are now able to leave and make it home safely. Demoulin is also here and tells us more about the UV lamps and the problems they encountered getting them. Demoulin tells us of a group that has not reported in and he wants us to look for a certain person. Demoulin gives us a location to check.
Along the way we find a water tower that has still been over run by the infected, this is also the sight the missing boy was last seen. To take the water tower back we need to defeat all of the infected and reach the top of the tower. We make our way to the top of the tower and hand the water tower over to the PK's, I thought this would be the safest option for the boy and we could speak with him after. However we soon encounter another bug that stops up from progressing as the boy wants us to kill all the infected even though there is none in the area.
