It Takes Two - Part 17 - Saving Joy
0Hello everyone and welcome back to It Takes Two.
Cody & May are still in the garden trying to remove the purple goo. The moles have invested the garden and are all over the place. each time they see us they begin to chase and try to eat us! After a long chase we manage to escape the hold and land back outside. We are greeted by two frogs that are like a taxi service that will take us to a new location for some worms. Whilst using the frogs we are able to jump really high reaching new areas.
Once the frogs take us as far as they can we have to clean up part of the garden and use vines to reach the next area. There are still mini games located throughout the level that we are able to find. These mini games are so fun and don't take very long to finish.
Eventually we make our way to the greenhouse that is invested with purple goo and thorns. There are multiple enemies that we must defeat in this area. Soon enough we find Joy who is really angry and has been corrupted by purple goo. Joy attacks Cody with a pot and turns him into a tomato. This means Cody is unable to attack like normal and will have to roll into enemies. Working together we are able to remove the corruption for joy little by little. Joy has a number of attacks to try and defeat Cody & May.
After removing the corruption Joy is able to bloom again and bring the garden back to live. Cody & May both apologise for letting the garden get this way. May is able to see how passionate Cody was but build his garden. Even after so many years they are learning so much about each other. Rose is also able to see the change as some of the flowers in her room bloom and look beautiful in the sun. For completing the level Cody & May have been rewarded with another piece of the letter. They still have another piece they must get, but this will put May in an uncomfortable spot.
Many years ago May used to sing all the time but since then she has lost her passion for it. May really doesn't want to sing, but in order to get the final piece of the letter they must create a concert and get May to sing live. May is give the power to use her voice to move objects and Cody is given a symbol that he is able to throw around.
