Dying Light 2 - Part 31 - Inside The GRE Database!
0Hey everyone and welcome back to Dying Light 2.
We are now heading to the agreed location to meet us with Veronika Ryan to speak with her about the GRE centres and see if she will be able to provide us with more information about Mia. For us to get the information we want to will have to put our trust in Veronika. Veronika tells us she was only a mid level doctor and doesn't know much about what happened. We also ask why she is willing to help. Even if we do not fully trust one another we need to work together to get the information we both want. Unfortunately the building does not seem to have any power so the key isn't working. We follow Veronika as she has something to show us.
Veronika takes us to a site filled with chemical. Veronika tells us that the GRE created a blocker that allows people to walk through the chemicals without getting ill. She tells us of a secret entrance to the building were we will be able to restore the power to the main building. To reach this point we will have to use all of our parkour skills. Once inside we are able to contact Veronika and work out how to get the power back on. Unfortunately there are still infected inside, we will need to use our UV light to run past the zombies. Once we get the power back on Veronika is able to use the lift to join us, however on the way down the power cuts off and the elevator gets stuck. Veronika panics as she's in a small space, we work quickly to get Veronika out.
Once the power is fixed we are able to get Veronika out. When we arrive Veronika is very freaked out by what just happened. We try to talk to Veronika to help her stay calm and keep her mind off things, it takes some time but she eventually calms down. When we arrive at the correct floor we are in the dark again, we need to find someway to get the power working down here too. There are more wires down here that we also need to connect. After connecting everything we are finally able to power the doors and get them open! Together we continue on through the building, Veronika tells us she will be able to use the main computer to look for Mia and see what happened to her.
Unfortunately we come across another locked door, but Veronika seems to know were the key is and how we can find it. She knows a lot about this building for a mid level doctor. We make our way through the vents and to the office Veronika mentioned with the security key. Whilst looking for a way out we fall into an office that used to be owned by Veronika. She lied to us this whole time and now we want answers. Veronika knew about the experiments and tell us why they were being tested on. Even though she lied to us we still want the same thing and need each others help.
Together we make it to the computers, however the door jams. Aiden decides to enter through he small gap to see if we can open it from the other side. however this trips a security alarm and a decontamination procedure is about to happen. Veronika tells us the only way we will survive this is to find another blocker to protect us from the chemicals. We quickly inject ourselves with the blocker but we have already had one in a small space of time and this knocks us out. After surviving the security process we are able to log onto a computer and find more about Mia.
Veronika looks for Mia through the database but finds nothing at all. Veronika tells us there was no one with the name Mia under the database. We check for Aiden's name and something comes up. Aiden recalls more of his past memories about the testing. Aiden also wants to check Waltz, we leave that the study was abandoned and everyone was to be released. We know the tests continued on Aiden but why? We also find out about another project that was paused for a long time, but has been reactivated. Before we can finish looking through everything some renegades attack after following us down here.
We take out the renegades and Veronika tells us the marks on the map are locations for missiles. We radio Frank and tell him to evacuate as many people as possible but more renegades attack.
