Dying Light 2 - Part 33 - Can We Stop The Colonel?
0Hey everyone and welcome back to Dying Light 2.
Lawan has left alone and we need to catch up to her before she gets herself in danger. Lawan does not answer our calls through the radio so we have no choice but to rush after her. When we arrive at the location we are given a warning that this is the beginning of the Epilogue, we continue forward to save Lawan. Once inside the building we are attacked by Renegades and pushed down to the bottom of the building filled with zombies. We don't have time to fight and just need to keep running otherwise we will be overwhelmed.
Over we escape the zombies we have to make our way through hordes of Renegades in our way. After defeating them we are able to find the ride that Jack Matt set up for us. We tell the driver to take us to the stronghold and they manage to get us inside. We the have a very big fight on our hands because there are enemies at every turn. Inside the stronghold there are civilians living too, but they will also attack if they see us. We make our way through the yard and into the building to find the colonel. Once inside we find Lawan, she somehow managed to get inside. Lawan is so angry and wants us to join her, Juan said that the colonel could not die and this has been playing on our mind.
Lawan locks us in a room so she is able to get to the colonel on her own. We cant allow her to do this, we don't want her to lose herself in all this anger. We find a way out of the room and find Lawan standing against the colonel. Lawan is ready to shoot but the colonel talks about another missile that only he is able to stop. We are now given an option on who to side with, firstly we trust the colonel if he is the only one to stop the missiles we might need him. However we do not want Lawan to get hurt so we stand by her and Jack. During the fight Lawan was hurt but we need to let Jack and his men inside. To let Jack inside we need to activate the dam and remove the water from the surrounding parts of the city. This reveals a new area to us that we are able to explore.
Now the peacekeepers are able to enter the building we can meet up with them inside. We go looking for the colonel, we cant let him escape. To get to him we now need to run through the new part of town that was underwater. This area is very dangerous and filled with new enemies including ones that explode. We manage to make it inside the new building and find the colonel. We don't believe a word the colonel says anymore. The only thing we both agree on is defeating Waltz. The colonel knows that we are turning and our true objective is to defeat Waltz. The colonel tells us that the missiles can be stopped with the GRE Key.
Now we know were Waltz might be we tell Jack and make our way there. Jack has transport ready for us to leave. On our way we are attacked by a large group of Renegades who are unhappy about what happened to the colonel. They attack us and unfortunately really hurt Jack Matt. We tell Jack we will handle Waltz, we hear another attack being triggered we don't have much time. Between us and Waltz is a huge cloud that is filled with chemicals that might even turn us. We have no time left to think about that, we must get to Waltz.
