Aerial Knight's Never Yield - part 1
0Hey everyone and welcome to a new series of Aerial Knight's Never Yield.
This game is a 3D side-scroller that follows are main character. The game is a little like an endless runner game but it has a strange story that unfolds as you play. The game is contently moving and you have to run, jump or slide past obstacles. The game is fast paced and very quick to move on from deaths.
We start off with the prologue that introduces us to the main character who is named Wally. Wally have woken up and decides to run to safety. This prologue teaches us all of the controls to the game. Once you approach an obstacle the game will go into slow Mo mode, this makes it very difficult to judge the timing at first as you feel like pressing the button straight away.
After learning the controls we head into level 1. From the start we see that there is an enemy chasing Wally trying to take him back. We need to avoid not only them but the obstacles in our way. There are 2 different types of jumps in the game one is a large red jump and the other is a smaller yellow jump. I really like how the obstacles light up in the colour of action you should be using. As you can see from some of my deaths throughout the level it is a very fast paced game and quickly moves on from these mistakes. After completing the level we are rewarded with a new outfit.
We then get a better look at some of the enemies chasing us as we run into level two. As you progress through the game the levels become a little more difficult as you have less time to think about the action you will take. Level 2 has us running through building and even over the top of them! Again after defeating this level we are rewarded with a new outfit. These outfits can be changed on the main menu screen to make Wally look different whilst running.
