Dynamic Cloud Shadows in Unity

Our dynamic cloud shadows asset for Unity now supports dithered transparency.
Unity does not support transparent shadows out-of-the-box. If you want your cloud shadows to be less dark, you were out of luck. You could adjust the scene shadow strength, but that affects all shadows in the scene, including other opaque objects - not a great solution.
Our latest release of Cloud Shadows introduces dithered transparency, which enables you to create even more lifelike and realistic cloud shadows in your Unity project. With dithered transparency, you can fade in the hard edges of the cloud shadows to simulate soft-edged clouds. And, you can also adjust the maximum opacity of the cloud shadows to simulate clouds that don't block 100% of the light.
As of this writing, this makes Cloud Shadows the only asset for Unity that supports dynamic transparent cloud shadows using this approach.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you're able to use Cloud Shadows in your next project!
