Alps and I recently completed a UV-Speed TAS of E1M1 in 7.74 seconds. The POV in this video is the excellent 8.91 human run by Depr4vity (the fastest run as of now), and the ghost Doomguy that is seen is our TAS.

Depr4vity's run unfortunately does not appear to be on YouTube. If I later find that it is, I'll edit this and link it here. However, our TAS can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKnHrVqdbOo

This video isn't anything like a multiplayer demo with the second player having programmed inputs. The ghost player is a really cool feature of the dsda-doom source port, where you can record a demo, then create a "ghost file" of the demo, and then play that ghost file alongside playing a different demo or even during speedrun attempts. The ghosts don't affect gameplay in the 'actual demo' being played in any way, they just visually appear there. It's one of many features that Kraflab is doing a great job of implementing into dsda-doom, which can be found here: https://www.doomworld.com/forum/topic/118074-dsda-doom-source-port-v0197/?page=1

Certainly the coolest use I've seen of the ghost feature is in including bulk ghosts in a demo playback. Zero-Master did a great video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ip8ZVri9XVQ
And Ancalagon has done a similar one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOfBOU8P3E8
