If you are intending to follow this series to actually complete the achievement, you should know I made one major mistake. I had something the wrong way around in my head. Enemy bases MUST NOT be set to lower than normal, or the achievement will be disabled. You can, however, turn off pollution altogether in the 'advanced' tab, and still set the starting area to the max of 600%, which should still mean you get no trouble from the natives. Below are two map exchange strings, one with the exact settings I used, another with the same resource distribution but tweaked to allow the achievement. Sorry!

THERE IS NO SPOON - Launch a rocket within 8 hours.
Since my last TINS walkthrough became obsolete just a short while after publishing it due to the experimental release of 0.17, I have finally gotten around to making an updated version.
In this first episode, I introduce the series, and explain how you can set up a map to minimise playtime. I'll try to explain what I'm doing as I go so you can follow along to a reasonable degree if you wish. Rather than my usual technique of simply cutting out the boring bits and jump-cutting to the next section of commentary, I'll instead speed up the quiet or slow bits.
This is a vanilla playthrough, but I have two mods installed. The first is 'Inbuilt Lighting" which adds a lamp-like effect to power poles. This has no affect at all on how I play the game, it is purely to try to help you see what I'm doing in the dark, as I won't be using lamps or night vision. The second mod is 'Playtime', which simply displays a clock in the top-left corner of the screen, so you can see at all times exactly how much time i've spent in the map and how much longer I have to get the achievement.
