Ebay buyer tried to scam me
6An ebayer with the username of sitavampire submitted a claim with the reason: Doesn't work or Defective. His comment said "pedals are fine steering wheel don t work".
Several days before I shipped out the item I recorded this video. I often see sellers get scammed on the subreddit "Flipping" and so I decided to video record the item to avoid any issues like that.
This ebayer has hundreds of positive feed back more than me and so he probably thought that he could take advantage of me because it was my first sale on eBay. Before this, I have only sold items on Amazon and on Half.com. This is an item worth $187.27 so it's no small amount.
I am submitting this to eBay as proof that sitavampire is trying to scam me and I hope that this video saves me because otherwise I don't stand a chance against this large ebayer.
Update: About two hours after providing this video to the buyerand ebay, the buyer closed the case. Make sure to video/photograph your items before selling, especially if they're expensive!
