Einhander (PS1) Playthrough - Hard Mode - Fun Run 4 - Unknown Fighter II With Flash/Spreader
Playthrough of Einhander for the PS1 on Hard mode mode on ps1 with the Unknown Fighter II (Selene). This is the 4th for a series of playthroughs with it where i will be calling "Fun Runs" as i will be using different weapon combinations with the intention of showcasing then. For this week this is the final run where i will be using arguably the most overpowered weapon in the game, The Flash alongside the Spreader for the ultimate win combo of Einhander! The Flash gunpod as the name suggests, fires a beam of energy that pierces every enemy it comes across doing MASSIVE damage in the process. Unlike the Riot where the weapon truly pierces enemies from inside out, the Flash does it purely out of brute force. This alone already makes this weapon extremely broken but there is one gimmick to the Flash that no other weapon is capable of replicating and that is hitting enemies WAY off screen as soon as they spawn. Every weapon in the game has a very visible range limit to their shoots especially when the screen focuses more in the background however, for some reason the Flash travels way beyond every other weapon is capable off so if you remember the enemies placements around the stages you can abuse this gimmick of the Flash to disgusting results. Now the first thing one does when they unlock the Unknown Fighter II is to play the game with 2 Flashes equipped. While this is extremely powerful, it leaves some gaps in your defenses especially with no way to shoot from behind. The Spreader as its partner offers the Ultimate combination of Supreme Power + Superb Utility which = everything you could ever want!!! With the Flash destroying bosses becomes just a afterthought so just like my run that i did years ago, i will play around against some bosses especially the ones i didnt show off some of their attack patterns in that run. The only boss that resists the oppresive power of the Flash is Hyperion with his damage gating however the Flash can deal many hits to its core that it doesnt take forever to destroy him but the Juno is still the number 1 Hyperion destroyer. Overall the Flash is pretty much the strongest weapon in the game alongside the Juno and just like it, its a excellent choice for a starting weapon as it can make bosses comebacks a non issue. Unlike the Python or the Mosquito, the Flash is actually a very frail weapon when it comes to taking hits and will be destroyed very quickly as opposed to the other 2 if you are not careful.
