This guy took me three tries to beat.

First time I did no damage and thought "I'll never be able to beat this boss"
Second time I had to stop and let him kill me because "oh fuck Nepheli's questline... OH FUCK I'M NOT RECORDING!"
Third time I won.
I'm not sure if you need to summon Nepheli for this fight or not but oh well.

Normally I use the skeletons but for this fight I'm gonna recommend the jellyfish you get by default. It has a fair amount of HP, it shoots poison projectiles, and he's a jelly boy.

Godrick himself is essentially the Abyss watchers/Belfry Gargoyles/ Lost sinner/ Genichiro of this game (Though in Sekiro's case you could make Genichiro the Second or third boss of the game or you could make it the the fourth to last boss of the game)

He definitely hits hard and could probably be a mid to late game boss in other entries but here thanks to the improved combat he doesn't stand much of a chance once you learn his little tricks.

Don't get discouraged if you die you'll learn as you go and again jellyfish works wonders here.
