201This is an unboxing and review of the Elgato Wave:3 - a condenser microphone that's designed to bring broadcast level audio to content creators and streamers. In this video I'll be showing off the mic, using it for the voice over and talking about the highlights, problems and more. As well as showing off the new Wave Link software and pairing with Elgato Stream Deck.

- Capacitive mute button (touch to mute, not button press sound)
- Condenser capsule with cardioid only pattern (designed to focus on your voice)
- Internal pop filter (to remove problems with pops in your voice)
- Intelligent Clipguard technology that's designed to sooth "overdriven sound" preventing you from peaking, even if you shout
- 24bit/96Khz sample rate for even better audio capture
- Boom arm adapter included
- Brilliant Wave Link software that allows you to route audio into a single channel and more effectively monitor your sound

Highlights to this mic are almost certainly the clipguard technology that stops you accidentally peaking and ruining your audio, even when live streaming.
The other highlight is the wave software, which allows you to route different audio sources and actively monitor your audio to hear what the audience is going to hear - perfect for streaming on Twitch and the like.
