Getting better at this. I used a few Vanadium to boost three of the four the guardian weapons, after realising that the damage for a complete kill was only short by 20%. With two legs off, you dont need the boost. With one leg off, five shots on target with the boost is enough to blow it up. With no legs off, the boost is enough but only if there are 4 pips to weapons, and also you get in close enough. On my last test run, I got the Thargoid down to 3% from the scan, so it is possible.
