Offering higher damage and lower cost than its turreted sibling, the gimbal mount provides for more precise fire control and grater usability towards the edge of its effective range. This weapon is still dependent on AX research scans to be leveraged to its best effect.

While effective at fighting scouts and damaging Thargoid hearts, the Multi-cannon remains ineffective at exertion damage and should be paired with a dedicated exertion weapon for best effect on interceptors.
